Artis Opus are proud to announce our collaboration with Dan Morris of 'Tooth and Talon' Tattoo studio located in Manchester, England. Featuring here are 2 different texture pallet designs.

We're a huge fan of Dan's work, in fact a number of our team wear his work or artists from his studio proudly.
Dan is also a self-confessed Warhammer addict, and has tattooed multiple 40k inspired pieces over the years. Most recently, he won a painting award in the Darren Latham '90's Marine day' miniature painting competition, yes - you heard that right, for a tattoo! (And it's on one of the Artis Opus team!!)

Following multiple hours in 'the chair' with Dan, a natural idea emerged that perhaps he could design some of our boxes and texture pallet art in his style - and this collection of pieces was born.

This set has been customised top-to-bottom and features his distinctive art, and every sale helps support Dan directly!

It is covered in a variety of heavy black lines of differing thicknesses, along with the perfect amount of flat space for mixing paints before painting. It is a perfect permanent fixture for testing and cleaning, not to mention looking swanky!

Dan had this to say about these two pieces:

'Hi, my name’s Dan Morris. I own Tooth and Talon Tattoo in central Manchester and I’ve been tattooing since 2002. I make solid black graphic, almost woodcut looking images with my own twist on them.

I grew up playing table-top games and getting excited by the artwork on the box sets, reading a lot of graphic novels and listening to a lot of metal - all these things have been a massive influence on my artwork outside of tattooing itself.

When Artis Opus approached me to make these brush sets and texture palettes it felt like a natural partnership and I was excited by the opportunity. All I had to do was make something I would be excited to own and use myself so I hope you like it too!'

Prime it and you're ready to mix on it, test colour schemes, test your drybrushing results before taking your brush to miniature, and also clean series D on it, gently using it like a washboard.
