Artis Opus are proud to announce our collaboration with Dan Morris of 'Tooth and Talon' Tattoo studio located in Manchester, England. 

We're a huge fan of Dan's work, in fact a number of our team wear his work or artists from his studio proudly. Dan is also a self-confessed Warhammer addict, and has tattooed multiple 40k inspired pieces over the years. Most recently, he won a painting award in the Darren Latham '90's Marine day' miniature painting competition, yes - you heard that right, for a tattoo! (And it's on one of the Artis Opus team!!)

Following multiple hours in 'the chair' with Dan, a natural idea emerged that perhaps he could design some of our box art in his style - and this collection of pieces was born.

This set has been customised top-to-bottom and features his distinctive art, and every sale helps support Dan directly. Each S and M series brush is handmade in the UK and densely packed with the highest quality pure Kolinsky sable, and triple-tested to our industry-leading and exacting quality standards.

Dan's words on his signature collection:

'Hi, my name’s Dan Morris. I own Tooth and Talon Tattoo in central Manchester and I’ve been tattooing since 2002. I make solid black graphic, almost woodcut looking images with my own twist on them.

I grew up playing table-top games and getting excited by the artwork on the box sets, reading a lot of graphic novels and listening to a lot of metal - all these things have been a massive influence on my artwork outside of tattooing itself.

When Artis Opus approached me to make these brush sets and texture palettes it felt like a natural partnership and I was excited by the opportunity. All I had to do was make something I would be excited to own and use myself so I hope you like it too!'
